Our sale is held each year at Kist Livestock Auction located on the strip in Mandan, North Dakota. The bulls are displayed under Kist's covered pens in case of inclimate weather. We serve up a free lunch prior to the sale and offer refreshments after the sale.

We offer a $50 discount per bull if you take them home yourself and offer free delivery. We are happy to help you with feeding arrangements until buyers pick up their bulls in the spring. All bulls are fertililty tested and guaranteed against injury for first breeding season.

VAR Mission Statement:
To produce high quality Angus cattle that strive and thrive in the realistic but harsh environment of the Dakota's. We desire to breed cattle of outstanding phenotype, structure, and genetic excellence that runs deep into the pedigree ancestry. We insist that the cattle of this nature survive on minimal inputs while producing a palatable end product through the conversion of forage. It is extremely important that the cattle be reproductively efficient enabling them to be a sound financial investment.
